the most ignored entity in India, Men. NCM tirelessly works towards
bringing peace and dignity to men which Society has forgot in spite of
the contributions made by men to the same Society.
The present regime of “Women Empowerment” has knowingly
unknowingly created an Anti Male environment and Several political leader to
appease women vote bank have been singing song of Empowerment. “Empowerment”
means to give official Authority or Legal power to act on behalf. The blind
empowerment on one gender under assumption of fairer sex being weaker is
thwarting Men to gallows. The basic assumption that women are weaker sex is a
misconception which over a period of years has been widely promoted and
accepted.
The Census 2011 reveals the following which Substantiates the
facts that Men are a Weaker gender if at all Darwin’s Theory of “Survival of
the fittest is to be believed.”

Sex ratio (W

Where its clearly visible that women constitute 49% of the
Indian Population , Men are 51%. This has given avenue to several feminist
organization to claim that Women are a weaker gender and thus because of ill
health lack of sanitation & medical facilities. The national Sex ratio is
943 Females per 1000 males which has increased from 921 females from census
2001. Bengal fairs much better vis a vis
nation there are 960 females per 1000 males.
Myth –With a malafied
intention, Decline in the number of
girls under the age of seven - feminist attribute eight million female foetuses may
have been aborted between
2001 and 2011. Often
Example of Haryana and other sates are quoted by feminist organization with
lesser sex ratios to highlight the atrocities of women. The state of Kerala has
1083 females per 1000 males and puducherry has 1046 femalee per 1000 males.
Would the feminist organization claim in these states that lower male ratios
are outcome of male foeticide. If the argument is to be accepted and
considering these 8 crore foetus survived , The Census would have revealed 67
crore females vs 62 cr male as presently 59 crore famles vs 62 cr male. ( 8 cr
added to female) than would the men’s right organization claim hold good that 5
cr male foetus have suffered foeticide.
Truth –These claims are
controversial. Scientists who study human sex ratios and demographic trends suggest that birth sex ratio
between 1.08 to 1.12 can be because of
natural factors, such as the age of mother at baby's birth,
age of father at baby's birth, number of babies per couple, economic stress,
endocrinological factors, etc.The 2011 census birth sex ratio in India, of 917
girls to 1000 boys, is similar to 870-930 girls to 1000 boys birth sex ratios
observed in Japanese, Chinese, Cuban, Filipino and Hawaiian ethnic groups in
the United States between 1940 to 2005.
at birth: 112 male(s)/100 female
15–24 years: 109 male(s)/ 100 female
24–64 years: 106 male(s)/ 100 female
65 years and
over: 90.8 male(s)/ 100 female
However the study reveals that although the no of male child
born are 112 per 100 females gradually over a life span the no of males keep
decreasing with the age. Men are more vulnerable to health hazards, illness,
sanitation & medical facilities. 90% of the risky Jobs are performed by men
and fear threat to death. Where Women survives such potential threats Men
largely succumb to the environment. Over
a life Span 21 Male are lost per 100
Female, as per the census there are 59 hundred lakh female thus 13 crore more
male are lost vis a vis females Since
independence.

The average
Age of Men is 67 years and Women is 72 years, however the popular belief and foul cry , persistent theory
of victimization of women and
Criminalization of Men are presented to represent women as a Weaker Sex.
Men although framed as a physically stronger Sex surpass women in mortality
rate and face decimation much earlier.6 decades have passed & no efforts have been made to bridge this age
gap in the life span between the two genders. On closer analysis it has been
observed that the mortality rate increases considerably in age group of 60 years.
For 60 and above male mortality rate is 50.7 vis a vis of women is 42. Thus
elderly men are exposed to biggest health risks.
Weaker emotional quotient of men adds to their agony, Men
Commit Suicide twice that of women. Approx 90,000 men committed suicide vis a vis a 45000 women The Social structure and representation of
men in poor light is such that men are criminalized, branded as oppressors and
criminalized to such an extent that they are left with no other choice. Every 6
min a men is committing suicide in india which is twice that of a women
committing suicide. Every 9 min a married men commits suicide in india. There
is no safe guard towards the cruelty and
domestic violence which men undergo. Family disputes are single largest male
killers . This deep apathy towards men is extricating their survival in the
present social environment.
Under the assumption that Men are stronger Men are subjected
to extreme mental and physical cruelty in domestic house hold. They do not have
any rights in a domestic relationship however they are loaded with
responsibilities of the entire family system. Unable to cope up with the expectation,
the abuse of men is not only ignored ever if its expressed in general the
problems are laughed out and heed no empathy.
90% of the taxpayers are Indian Men however they are still
waiting for a Single men centric policy welfare scheme. National Coalition of
Men voices the plight of the ignored spices and raises questions which are
ignored and go unanswered.
The question arises if the Life of men Cheap
that no concern are raised on loosing a men?
Government welfare scheme are women centric and
only focuses on the welfare of women do men deserve a fair share in these
schemes?
The issues of Men has never been heard of nor
any study has taken place to identify Men’s issues, under such circumstances
are men safe?
What is Govt doing to protect the men from committing
suicides?
Will government consider Men’s Ministry and Men’s
Commission for identifying and addressing gender issues of Men?
